This very rare promotional 45 RPM single from A&M Records was pressed in Lebanon and has a white label.
For a period of about 8 years in the late 60's and the early 70's , records were being pressed in Lebanon under
licence from the parent record companies. This stopped when the local civil war broke out in 1975 and was never resumed.
Only very few copies of each record were pressed.
So, if you find a record that is pressed in Lebanon, be sure that it is a very rare item.

(soundtrack) // arranged by Mike Batt, produced by Stephen James* / [Germany Hansa, 10 819]
A -
Twins of evil (Robinson*) ... instr.
B -
Fastback (James* / Mike Batt) ... instr.
* Notes by Laineycrusoe ...
Robinson = Harry Robinson / James = Stephen James; The a-side is a cover
of the theme music from the 1971 Hammer film of the same title. The
b-side is a funky track that sounds like early 1970s library music.
Stephen James is the son of music publisher Dick James and also ran the DJM
label. I'm not sure who 'Essjay' is, but Stephen James' initials are
pronounced the same way as the artist's name so I assume Essjay was a studio
project of his. According to the label it was actually Stephen James who
produced the single, with Mike Batt arranging it. - Many thanks to

a commercial success though 'Captain Jones' did receive some good reviews in

Lolly / Mike Batt / [Midland Counties Ice Cream / RMS 1]
Liberate
a Lolly (lyrics by Mike Isaacson / music by Mike Batt)
... a jingle for 'Midland Counties Ice Cream'
Note at "ebay": A one-sided 45 by Mike Batt RMS 1. A great tune and with
lots of connections is one of those records
that will climb and climb in the
valuestakes, and the musics not bad either!
... information about this rare single from Toned-F, Australia, lyrics from Johannes Felber, Salzburg, Austria
- Thank you!
... information about the release year from Andrea,
UK - she was working at Midland Counties Ice Cream in Birmingham, England,
at the time the jingle was on TV. The singles were 'freebies'
anyway for radio stations etc. - Thank You!
